His name is Zech Bravo, he's a seven year old cancer survivor from Las Cruces.

He'll accompany the other team captains for the opening coin toss at every home game.

I'll post the link to the story from KVIA 7 as soon as it becomes available.

I think that is "coach" bravo who use to coach freshman football at LCHS nephew or son I can't remember. He also works the chain gang at aggie games. I really like what Martin is doing to help this community get behind the team

Very cool. Even though a lot of NFL teams and some schools have done it, by letting them score a touchdown. Something similar may be having him lead the players out of the tunnel onto the field would be very cool.

3rdandcrimson, I like your idea. Instead of letting him just be apart of the coin toss, let him run onto the field. What a thrill for that young man and his family. A bright spot after the battle this young boy has had to endure.

The AGGIE fans will go crazy too. Coach Martin continues to impress.

If they still do the Aggie Walk or whatever it is called through the parking lot before game time, he should lead the team.

I agree.

I know many might say that Martin's just trying to get some PR I still think he gets credit for doing this. It's easy to be cynical and say he's just trying to make the team and himself look good but the fact of the matter is that he's doing this when he didn't have to so kudos to him and the team.
